About Brent

Brent Altemose is the Owner & Principal Consultant at ALTIH LLC and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at
Ocean County College. Since beginning his career as a ventilation engineer, he has worked for 30 years in
the fields of industrial hygiene and occupational safety, including over 20 years in the pharmaceutical
industry. He has particular expertise in exposure control and containment, exposure assessment
strategies and modeling, statistical analysis of industrial hygiene data, local exhaust and laboratory
ventilation, and indoor air quality. He is currently the vice-chair of AIHA and ACGIH’s Improving Exposure
Judgments Advisory Group.
