About Michael

Dr. Michael Marino is the Director of Occupational Toxicology within Regeneron’s Corporate Environment, Health
& Safety (EHS) organization. In this role, he oversees the company’s Occupational Toxicology, Biological Safety,
Radiation Safety, and Chemical Hygiene programs, providing strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of
health and safety initiatives.

Dr. Marino began his career as a research scientist at General Electric, where he developed novel injectable
radiographic contrast agents and later advanced into research leadership, managing multiple laboratories
including the nonclinical toxicology facility. He joined Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in 2018, contributing four
years to Process Sciences in support of both Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing. He subsequently
led the internal technology transfer program, serving as a key liaison between Research & Development and
manufacturing operations.

Dr. Marino is a Board Certified Toxicologist (ABT, 2018). He holds a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of
California and bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
